Bagley avenue Residence
This Wallingford Neighborhood home is heavily shaded by mature trees during the summer months and has a resident dog who loves to roam the yard. No plants from prior planting efforts survived. This design incorporates a series of raised corten steel planters brimming with plant species that have a tropical vibe. Space is kept clear around the garden perimeter for a dog loop and to allow existing tree roots to breathe. A seven-foot diameter paved circle and complimentary offset circle of crushed rock extends gathering space into the garden, which is cradled to the south by large brightly colored ceramic pots and a bird bath.
